Senior Accountant | Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Complete a structured online survey documenting the day-to-day tasks, tools, and decision-making involved in your accounting work
• Describe role-specific functions aligned to SOC 13-2011 (Accountants and Auditors) with precision and professional context
• Provide input that may be used to update or refine occupational task definitions within a national workforce classification system
• Participate in follow-up surveys or short structured interviews, each compensated separately
• Engage independently on your own schedule with no coordination overhead or team dependency

Core Requirements

• Current or recent practitioner experience specifically in an accountant or auditor capacity (SOC 13-2011)
• Demonstrated command of accounting fundamentals as applied in an active professional role
• Ability to articulate daily workflows, responsibilities, and task scope with clarity and specificity
• Eligible to work as an independent contractor in the United States
• Comfortable with a fully self-directed, asynchronous format requiring no supervision

Additional Strengths

• Background in a defined accounting sub-discipline (public accounting, corporate accounting, audit, tax, or cost accounting)
• Prior experience participating in structured professional research, credentialing, or standards-related activities
