Responsibilities
- Lead and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
- Perform consolidation accounting across multiple entities and business units.
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and communicate findings to leadership.
- Support the preparation of financial reporting for a publicly traded organization in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Participate in accounting projects focused on automation, process improvement, and system enhancements.
- Partner with FP&A, operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
- Experience with consolidations or multi-entity accounting preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
