Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle monthly close for Lolli & Pops, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, accounts payable to GL reconciliation, accruals, and prepaid schedules.
- Own ASC 842 lease accounting across the store portfolio, including ROU assets and lease liabilities.
- Own all consolidated balance sheet reconciliations across both brands, including bank accounts, intercompany eliminations, accruals, ASC 842 ROU assets and lease liabilities, prepaid schedules, fixed assets, CapEx, and inventory.
- Own fixed assets, sales tax accruals, and intercompany transactions.
- Reconcile credit card and merchant activity (e.g., Ramp) and prepare related accruals.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP for VP Corporate Controller review.
- Streamline and improve close processes within Business Central.
- Partner with the VP Corporate Controller in building a robust finance and accounting team.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as directed by the VP Corporate Controller.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle close ownership; multi-entity experience preferred.
- Strong technical GAAP knowledge, including ASC 842 lease accounting and intercompany / consolidation experience.
- Public accounting experience preferred; mix of public and industry ideal.
- High Excel proficiency; ERP experience required (Business Central a plus).
- Comfortable interacting with internal and external senior-level executives.
- Self-starter with a collaborative ethic, flexible approach, and ability to meet close deadlines.

Pay
The pay range for this role is: 85,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Corporate)
