About the role
We’re partnering with a privately held, global aviation services company in Miami that operates in a fast-paced, highly transactional environment. The company supports aviation customers worldwide and works across fuel, logistics, operations, commercial support, and financial services.
Responsibilities
- Own key accounting processes tied to lease accounting and business expansion.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Handle full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and account analysis.
- Apply ASC 842 lease accounting guidance to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to gather information and resolve accounting issues.
- Support technical accounting matters related to leasing and complex transactions.
- Aid in financial reporting, audit support, and internal documentation.
- Review lease-related data, schedules, and accounting entries for accuracy.
- Help improve accounting processes, controls, workflows, and system usage.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple entities, deadlines, and ongoing business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred.
- Public accounting background preferred.
- Strong full-cycle accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with ASC 842 lease accounting required.
- Experience working in a large, complex, or multinational organization preferred.
- Strong technical accounting skills and ability to research accounting guidance.
- ERP experience required; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong Excel, reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Process improvement or systems enhancement experience preferred.
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.

- Open compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Pay
- $90,000-$110,000 plus bonus
