Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting will be assisting with the preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements, including statements of cash flows, as well as assisting in the preparation of the quarterly, annually, and other SEC filings (8-Ks, 10-Qs, 10-Ks, etc.). This individual will also prepare and analyze ad hoc reports as needed by Senior Management. This individual will ensure SOX compliance and perform technical research as needed. This individual will be assisting with the annual audit process, at times working directly with our external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with month end close, account reconciliation procedures, and preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements
• Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly and annual SEC filings (10Q and 10K)
• Assisting with the preparation of 8K’s and other reports as needed
• Assist with the preparation of internal operational reports for the management team and respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Requirements

• Reporting to the Corporate Controller
• IN-OFFICE position, located in Lake Mary, FL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
• At least 5 years of experience in public accounting or a financial reporting role
• Strong demonstrated ability to use MS Office products and accounting software proficiently
• Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
