Senior Accountant

Position Details

3+ month contract or open to contract to hire
Immediate start preferred
In office position

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile cash, bank, and credit card accounts
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Aid in financial statement preparation and internal reporting
• Support annual audits, tax reporting, and external advisor requests
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies
• Assist with accounting cleanup projects and reclassification entries as needed

Qualifications

• Senior level accounting experience with strong general ledger and reconciliation skills
• Healthcare industry experience
• QuickBooks experience preferred
