Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial results, and ensuring accurate reporting.
• Review balance sheet and income statement activity, investigate variances, and communicate key financial insights to support decision-making.
• Cook up external audit activities by providing timely documentation, collaborating with auditors, and maintaining a strong internal control environment.
• Partner with business leaders on financial reporting, operational initiatives, system implementations, and strategic projects, including acquisitions and process enhancements.
• Drive accounting process improvements through automation and control enhancements while mentoring junior team members and promoting cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Big 4 or Large Public Company Experience
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or progress toward CPA (Preferred)
