About the role
The Department of Radiological Sciences is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the department’s financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Processing and managing physician and resident pay
- Reconciling payroll reports
- Ensuring timesheet accuracy
- Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements
- Completing cash flow analyses
- Monitoring departmental accounts to ensure appropriate spending activity
- Processing cost transfers
- Reconciling all charges
- Entering invoices for payment
- Making deposits
- Ensuring all PCARD transactions are accurately recorded in PeopleSoft
- Maintaining complete purchase documentation
- Assigning correct GLs and corresponding account information
- Supporting the department in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records
- Supporting the department in internal and external audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 18 hours of accounting coursework
- 24 months experience as a professional Accountant
