POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for implementing approved accounting practices and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grant invoicing/billing functions, including cash receipts, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and grant management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process payroll and gather the necessary information
- Prepare invoices
- Report all necessary 1099's for STF and ARM at year-end
- Process accounts payable
- Process accounts receivable
- Generate reports for internal use
- Compile figures to assist staff in preparing agency grant requests and contracts
- Assemble work papers for the annual audit
- Prepare and submit all required reports and monitoring activities in a timely and accurate manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and three years (3) of relevant experience
- High School Diploma and six years (6) of relevant experience in accounting including: Not-for-profit experience, Highly preferred Payroll processing, Accounting systems management, highly proficient with (Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT,), preferred Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Daily management of the general ledger, Month-end close procedures, Grant management, billing and related reports, Extensive accounts payable and accounts receivable experience, Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies, Financial reporting, Audit preparation, Balance sheet reconciliations, Effective internal controls

- Eligible to work in the United States of America
- Able to work in office M - F (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
