Senior Accountant
About the role
The Senior Accountant at Regions is responsible for managing accounting and reporting requirements for select business groups, preparing and analyzing financial results for reports, and partnering with internal and external clients to meet reporting needs. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Five (5) years of accounting, corporate finance or directly related experience
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels
- Advanced analytical and research skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with accounting, Treasury, or capital market systems
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting systems, and practices

Location
The position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.
Pay and Schedule
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
- Minimum Job Range: $82,560.50 USD
- Middle Job Range: $97,320.50 USD
- Maximum Job Range: $108,320.00 USD
