Senior Accountant

About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a trusted financial resource to department leaders and executives while helping ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of financial reporting and operations. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, contribute to strategic initiatives, lead special projects, and make a meaningful impact across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Managing assigned accounting functions and maintaining accurate financial records
• Monitoring and analyzing general ledger activity to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Preparing and reviewing internal and external financial reports
• Serving as a financial resource and trusted advisor to departmental leaders
• Responding to financial and operational inquiries with timely, insightful analysis and recommendations
• Supporting leadership with special projects, strategic initiatives, and financial analyses
• Coordinating and managing finance-related projects as assigned
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals
• Mentoring and serving as a resource to members of the Finance team

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration with an Accounting major, or equivalent education and experience

Preferred Education: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Required Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience

Preferred Experience: Healthcare accounting experience
