Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Aid with month-end and year-end close activities
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Track project costs and assist with operational reporting
- Help develop and improve accounting procedures and workflows
- Support audit preparation and compliance activities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end close experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with QuickBooks and payroll processing
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Project accounting or experience in a growing environment is a plus
