About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients and ensuring their financial records are accurate and compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all routine accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct thorough audits of financial records to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to clients based on their unique needs and situations.
  • Develop and implement robust financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, legal teams, and tax professionals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on auditing and public accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high professional ethics and integrity.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Pay

$90,000 - $115,000 per year
