Job Details
This is not a traditional month-end close accounting role. As a Senior Accountant, you will own a portfolio of approximately six real estate assets and serve as a key business partner to asset management and operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate assets
- Review and oversee financial statements prepared by third-party property managers
- Analyze and validate joint venture partner reporting
- Prepare consolidated GAAP financial reporting packages
- Aid with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Partner with Asset Management teams to analyze property performance and operating results
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Support external audits and compliance requirements
- Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Experience with real estate accounting and financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

$115,000 - $125,000 per year
