Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, and partnering with operational leaders to provide meaningful financial insights. Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial statements and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial analysis and recommendations
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and business partnering skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation or CPA-track
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm)
• Experience in manufacturing, energy, construction, real estate, healthcare, or professional services industries

Pay

$85,000 - $110,000 per year
