Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly account reconciliations, and analysis.
• Responsible for balance sheet trend analysis and reporting.
• Maintains assigned accounts for exposure, reports concerns to manager.
• Researches and corrects account discrepancies.
• Tests ledger backup.
• Participates in the month-end close.
• Assists with transmission and reporting of financials.
• Supports special projects, as required by management.
• Assists with physical inventory and fixed asset audits.
• Supports internal and use tax audits of fixed assets.
• Supports other department members and managers with projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, required, plus 5 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP including experience in and ability to research GAAP and other Authoritative Pronouncements.
• Strong Excel skills.
• CPA License is required.
• Audit Experience with a large Regional and / or International Public Accounting Firm is preferred.
• Requires strong initiative. Should be able to bring potential solution options to manager along with issues.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, time management and written skills.

Pay

$76,150.00 - $114,040.00 / Year
