Senior Accountant
About the Role
Senior Accountant will work directly with an accomplished CFO and executive leadership team in a highly visible role. Gain hands-on exposure to mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration projects. Develop expertise in manufacturing accounting, including inventory, costing, and operational finance. Partner with leaders across operations, supply chain, production, logistics, sales, and project management. Build advanced analytical skills through budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business reporting. Expand your technical experience using ERP systems, advanced Excel, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform inventory accounting, inventory reconciliations, and cost analysis activities.
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, cash applications, and commission-related accounting support.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting.
- Support audits, treasury functions, process improvements, and M&A-related accounting projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification or CPA Track required.
- 3-5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Manufacturing and/or M&A experience highly preferred.
- Strong general ledger and financial reporting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience; Syspro/QuickBooks experience is a plus.
Benefits & Pay
- Salary: $80,000 - $120,000
