Why This Opportunity Stands Out High visibility with Accounting and Finance leadershipOpportunity to mentor and develop junior accounting staffExposure to ERP optimization and system enhancement projectsAbility to influence accounting processes and operational efficienciesDiverse responsibilities that extend beyond traditional accountingCollaborative, team-oriented culture with strong cross-functional partnershipStable organization with continued investment in accounting operations What You'll Own Accounting & Financial Reporting Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple entitiesPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesMaintain balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounts, and clearing accountsSupport financial reporting and quarterly reporting requirementsAssist with debt-related reporting and financial analysis Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting Own the full fixed asset lifecycle, including:Capital expenditure trackingAsset capitalizationDepreciation calculationsAsset disposalsFixed asset roll-forwardsManage lease accounting activities and related reporting requirements Audit & Compliance Serve as a key liaison during interim and year-end audit engagementsPrepare audit schedules and supporting documentationEnsure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Leadership & Process Improvement Mentor and support staff accountants and accounting specialistsReview work product and provide technical accounting guidanceHelp prioritize team workloads and support deadline managementPartner with leadership on process improvement initiativesContribute to ERP optimization and accounting systems enhancements What We're Looking For Required Experience Senior Accountant or advanced accounting experience with strong technical accounting skillsDeep understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processesExperience preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsStrong balance sheet reconciliation experienceSignificant fixed asset accounting experience with ownership of the complete asset lifecycleLease accounting experienceFinancial reporting experienceMulti-entity accounting environment experiencePrior experience mentoring, training, or reviewing the work of accounting staff Preferred Qualifications NetSuite experienceShared services accounting environment experienceConsolidations experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldAdvanced Excel skills The Ideal Candidate You are a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys both the technical and operational sides of accounting.
