Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for select client engagements
• Supervise on-boarding of new clients and establishment of a deliverables schedule
• Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure client financial records are updated and accurate
• Aid with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support senior team with data collection and ad-hoc project coordination

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA certification
• Experience in partnership and/or fund accounting (5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Desire to manage and train junior team members
• Superior proficiency with MS Excel and QuickBooks Online
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask while handling daily client needs
• Interest in delivering superior client service
