Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the Fixed Asset and Projects accounting functions
• Review, analyze and process all capital asset disposal and capital asset transfer requests
• Lead the lease accounting processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Perform month-end closing procedures
• Participate in the preparation of the annual budgets for review by management and used in measuring, planning, and controlling business operations
• Aid in the ADP payroll processing
• Aid in the preparation of the annual tax package
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal/external audit requests and SOX compliance data

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 years of relevant Accounting or Finance experience

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities and projects

Skills

• Knowledge of operations and/or experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in Oracle ERP Systems
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities including accounting related to financial, cost, and fixed assets policies, procedures, and regulations
