Senior Accountant, Americas & ANZ

Support the Americas & ANZ Controller in managing the financial operations of Prosci. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, supporting compliance with local accounting and tax regulations, and assisting in the production of management and statutory reports. Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes across entities.
- Prepare and post accruals and prepaid expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts (e.g., payroll, intercompany, sales and use tax, accruals, and prepaid expenses).
- Support the preparation of management reports, variance analysis, and financial statements in line with US GAAP and Prosci standards.
- Prepare and submit sales and use tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax workpapers and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, state and local statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.
- Support external audits, liaising with auditors and providing required documentation.
- Support the implementation and improvement of financial processes.
- Participate in ad hoc financial projects and system enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the global finance team to ensure consistency of accounting policies and reporting standards.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Provide analytical and operational support to the Americas & ANZ Controller and Financial Accountant.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, including Operations, Sales, and HR.
- Assist in training and supporting new finance team members on Prosci's tools and platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or active progress toward CPA license is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or shared-services environment.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, multi-state sales tax, and general accounting principles.
- Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar ERP experience is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.

Pay
$86,400 - $108,000 USD projected annual base salary, depending on qualifications and experience. Eligible for inclusion in the bonus program.
Schedule
This is a remote role within the United States. Travel required 2 times per year for team meetings and/or company events.
