Senior Accountant - $130,000

About the role

A Software company seeks a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a brand-new role created to support the company's growth and will be responsible for the revenue reporting across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, revenue, billings, collections, and general ledger activities.
• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting support.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances between actuals and budget, and provide meaningful insights to leadership.
• Assist in forecasting activities for revenue, billings and collections.
• Partner with external auditors and assist with annual audit preparation and requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in both Public Accounting & private is a must (Big 4 preferable).
• Any experience with ERP Systems and CRM (NetSuite, Salesforce is a plus but not necessary).
• CPA preferred.

Pay

Salary: $115,000 – $130,000 per year
