Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines

Towne Insurance is a relationship-driven organization committed to serving businesses, families, and communities with integrity and care. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager – Commercial Lines to join our Norfolk, VA team.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial accounts
• Partner closely with producers, carriers, and internal teams
• Deliver tailored commercial risk solutions
• Ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance across all client interactions

Requirements

• Active Property and Casualty license
• At least five years of commercial lines experience
• Highest level of organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Confident and clear communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
• Working knowledge of agency management systems (preferred: Applied Epic)
• Industry designations such as CIS, ACSR, or CISR (valued)

Qualifications

• Strong background in commercial insurance
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies

Pay

The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $65,000 to $90,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.

Schedule

This role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility to support work-life balance.
