About the role

Join our Commercial Lines team as a Senior Account Manager. You’ll service assigned commercial insurance accounts alongside a designated Producer, round accounts, and develop new business in line with company practices, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, and make appropriate recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure all service needs are met.
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, contributing to departmental production goals.
  • Gather client information and prepare applications for new and/or renewal coverage submissions to the Marketing Department.
  • Prepare client proposals based on needs, rates, and coverages.
  • Handle all transactions for assigned accounts, including applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, and forms.
  • Maintain accuracy of data in the agency management system.
  • May handle collections of premiums due.
  • Conduct business with an understanding of the Company’s business and earnings implications.
  • Stay informed of industry changes and trends to anticipate and respond to profit objectives.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial insurance.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
  • Producer’s license.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Expected salary range: $80,000 – $130,000 annually, impacted by skills, experience, and location.
