About the role
One Insurance Services is a well-established agency with over 40 years of experience serving the Florida market through multiple offices, including Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Orlando. Our expanding Commercial Lines Team is seeking motivated, client-focused professionals to contribute to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and service an assigned book of commercial insurance business.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to coverage questions, policy changes, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Guide clients through renewal and binding processes, tracking timelines to meet carrier and client deadlines.
- Present accounts to insurance markets, negotiate terms, and analyze quotes for comparison and coverage accuracy.
- Identify coverage gaps, risk exposures, and enhancement opportunities; communicate recommendations to Producers and clients.
- Review policies, endorsements, and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with carrier underwriting guidelines, agency standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support new business onboarding, including account setup, documentation collection, and carrier submissions.
- Process mid-term policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, remarketing efforts, and endorsements as needed.
- Manage certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and evidence of property requests.
- Absorb billing inquiries, payment issues, and carrier follow-ups.
- Communicate with clients to collect required documentation and ensure timely processing of coverage changes.
- Utilize AMS360, Outlook, Teams, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat to manage workflows efficiently and maintain detailed, accurate account documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Producers, Account Managers, and Customer Service Representatives to support client retention and growth goals.
- Serve as a resource for complex accounts, escalations, and problem resolution.
- Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and process improvement initiatives to stay current on industry trends and enhance operational efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior Account Management staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance
- Strong technical knowledge of middle market insurance products
- Valid Florida 2-20 license required
- Experience with ACORD forms, supplemental applications, and Surplus Lines
- Knowledge of class codes AMS360 experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook
