Senior Account Manager
About the role
The Senior Account Manager is a critical role within the Client Solutions department that partners directly with Sales to best service our advertising agency partners and execute on a variety of campaigns to meet client targets. The role is responsible for owning GumGum’s renewal business, building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with key clients, analyzing competitor campaigns, leading QBRs, coordinating internal cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Own GumGum’s renewal business by delivering an industry-leading, end-to-end client experience and strategically securing future revenue pipelines.
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients through proactive communication, performance presentations, and in-person engagement.
- Analyze active and external competitor campaigns to identify incremental growth opportunities and drive expansion strategy for key accounts.
- Spearhead Quarter Business Reviews (QBRs) for strategic accounts, synthesizing key performance data into actionable insights for clients.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams and partner closely with AdOps to ensure flawless campaign implementation, pacing, and KPI delivery.
- Champion daily campaign performance reviews, establish cross-departmental alignment on client success metrics, and streamline stakeholder workflows.
- Lead pod meetings with clear agendas and goal-setting to keep internal execution organized, up-to-date, and on schedule.
- Act as a Team Expert by onboarding and mentoring new team members, managing the AM Core Curriculum, and co-owning the team's continued education program.
Requirements
- 3+ years of digital media experience, with a strong preference for a background in online verticals like Account Management or Media Planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Proficient in digital advertising terms, concepts, revenue models, and advanced advertising metrics.
- Skilled at interpreting campaign performance metrics and confidently explaining technical data to clients.
- Experience with ad tech and project tools such as DoubleClick, Sizmek, MOAT, IAS, Millward Brown, Upwave, Salesforce, DoubleVerify, and JIRA.
- Diplomatic communicator capable of managing diverse internal and external stakeholders while protecting client expectations.
- Proven ability to manage complex, varied client needs while upholding a reputation for premier customer service.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to balance competing demands and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or equivalent practical industry experience.

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from $83,000 - $102,000 annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.

Schedule
GumGum offers a flexible work environment, allowing employees the option to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.
