About the role

Join Aon’s industry-leading Global Natural Resources team as a Senior Account Executive III focused on Power & Renewables, and help our clients make better decisions in an era of unprecedented change.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow key client relationships, engaging directly with senior decision-makers while remaining a trusted, day-to-day partner for client teams.
  • Lead the end-to-end renewal process, assembling and guiding cross-functional Aon teams to craft and implement tailored renewal strategies.
  • Partner closely with Brokers to design and deliver innovative risk transfer and placement strategies that reflect current and emerging market dynamics.
  • Orchestrate critical relationships between clients, Aon account and risk services teams, and insurers to drive differentiated outcomes.
  • Ensure the client service team deeply understands each client’s business, risk profile, and goals—and that our service model and economic framework are aligned to them.
  • Lead stewardship planning and delivery, clearly demonstrating the value Aon brings through insights, outcomes, and execution.
  • Manage overall account profitability, taking a value-based approach to scope, pricing, and the Client Service Standards.
  • Structure and negotiate Aon’s compensation for services, whether fee-or commission-based, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Educate clients on risk management and risk transfer options, market conditions, and key trends in the Power & Renewables landscape, supported by benchmarking and analyzer data.
  • Mobilize the right Aon experts and resources when clients face unusual or high-severity situations, such as major claims or new project developments.
  • Collaborate across geographies (including international markets), functions, and business divisions to build coordinated solutions and capture growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate invoicing and receivables for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of Property & Casualty (P&C) experience, with a strong track record serving complex, multinational clients.
  • Deep experience managing large, sophisticated accounts in the Power, Renewables, and/or broader Natural Resources sector.
  • Proven ability to lead client relationship strategy, drive growth, and manage profitability across a portfolio of accounts.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Sharp critical thinking and executive-level communication skills; able to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives for a range of stakeholders.
  • High level of digital fluency, including advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with data-driven insights.
  • Active Property & Casualty license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of relevant industry experience.
