About the role

The Senior Account Director will lead the development of 360-degree communications strategies that advance social change at every scale. They will serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients, using data-driven insights to prove how modern advocacy must be both hyper-local and globally aware to be impactful. This role requires a strategist with at least 10 years of experience who is equally comfortable navigating the intricacies of U.S. civic engagement and the complexities of geopolitical conflict.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of 360-degree communications strategies that advance social change at every scale.
  • Use data-driven insights to prove how modern advocacy must be both hyper-local and globally aware to be impactful.
  • Leverage a bi-focal network of media contacts to pitch to local and international audiences.
  • Partner with senior leadership to scale an Integrated Advocacy desk and proactively hunt for new business in sectors like climate migration and digital sovereignty.
  • Oversee the evolution of best practices that allow your team to pivot resources quickly as the 2026 news cycle shifts.
  • Mentor and empower a team of account leaders to foster a culture of global citizenship.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in PR and communications.
  • A proven track record in both domestic political/civic campaigns and international social impact work.
  • Strategic elasticity to set big-picture global strategies and lead tactical campaigns.
  • A deep understanding of the 2026 U.S. political landscape and major global flashpoints.
  • Organized and calm under pressure, with exceptional financial and administrative skills.

Qualifications

  • Master of accounts and organizational management.
  • Ability to code-switch across audiences, writing persuasive op-eds and sophisticated white papers.
  • Politically savvy and geopolitically aware, understanding how domestic midterm outcomes can affect the international stage.

$110,000 - $130,000 a year
