Key Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and support Accela Automation and associated modules.
- Create and maintain EMSE scripts, JavaScript, APIs, and custom code to enhance platform functionality.
- Implement automated workflows for permitting, licensing, inspections, and land management processes.
- Customize Accela interfaces to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Accela and third-party systems.
- Utilize REST APIs, web services, and integration frameworks to support secure data exchange.
- Support deployment activities and coordinate with Accela Support teams.
Reporting & Data Management
- Design, develop, and maintain Accela Ad Hoc and SSRS reports.
- Create dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Work with SQL Server databases for data management and reporting.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application, workflow, integration, and system issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end users and business stakeholders.
- Maintain ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Documentation & Training
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Conduct user training sessions and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Document configurations, customizations, integrations, and deployment procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with: Accela Automation, Accela Configuration Management, EMSE Scripting, Application Support.
- Strong knowledge of: Accela On-Premise and Cloud platforms, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, JIRA, SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, GitHub, Postman, SSIS, Accela Ad Hoc Reporting and SSRS, Accela Digital Plan Room, Accela Mobile, Automated deployment processes, GIS technologies.
- Experience integrating Accela with external systems such as ERP, financial, and messaging platforms.
- Experience supporting government or public sector organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Accela Administration experience.
- Experience developing Construct API integrations.
- Experience with: Teller Cashiering, Twilio SMS Messaging, SAP.
- Experience with software development methodologies and programming languages.
- Experience with project management practices.
- Accela Certifications preferred.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
