Senior 3D Technical Modeler - Diagnostics

Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and solutions-oriented 3D modeler to contribute to delivering innovative reality capture solutions. The 3D Modeling Specialist will be responsible for managing the team for processing site conditions from LiDAR scanners and other photogrammetry equipment, performing data post-processing, scan registering tasks, and performing web viewer visualization. This opportunity is ideal for senior level professionals who are interested in gaining more experience in digital asset management.

• Lead a team of modelers and work on a variety of structural engineering projects in India and US, including residential high rises, commercial development, aviation facilities, sports facilities, healthcare buildings, industrial setups, and hotels.
• Work with a team of engineers and modelers to deliver modeling and drafting/detailing work.
• Manage and lead 3D modelers' team.
• Learns and implements latest BIM-related best practices, firm standards, industry learnings and methods.
• Create digital twins using photogrammetry, LiDAR, 360 cameras, and other image sources.
• Develop 3D models (required LOD, up to 500) in Autodesk Revit structure, maintain and own these models.
• Create high-quality drawings with the required plan-section-details, pick up drawing markups, etc.
• Use in-house developed plugins and tools for productivity enhancement.

Qualifications

Diploma in civil engineering or bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of relevant work experience.

• Knowledge and understanding of U.S. drafting standards a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Extensive knowledge and experience in use of Revit Structure and AutoCAD required.
• Knowledge and experience in Rhinoceros/Grasshopper, including parametric modeling and visual programming is a plus.
• Previous experience with Cyclone, Autodesk ReCap and/or NavVis Ivion, Autodesk Civil3D, Autodesk Revit is beneficial.
• Previous reality capture and/or surveying experience is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Candidate must be proactive, have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented.
• Proven leadership quality in managing and leading modeler/drafting team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
