Senior 3D Experiential Designer

About the role

Mirror is a New York-based experiential marketing agency that crafts immersive brand experiences. They are looking for a visionary and concept-driven Senior 3D Designer (with some 2D capabilities) to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-stage concepting through research, trend exploration, brainstorming, and moodboarding
• Develop high-quality 3D models and renderings that communicate spatial vision and style
• Design immersive spatial experiences including floor plans, scenic elements, interactive touchpoints, photo moments, and product displays
• Sources furniture, props, and materials aligned with creative direction and brand guidelines
• Apply basic graphic design skills to lay out simple treatments and prep files for print
• Collaborate with print production and fabrication teams; understand material costs and budget implications
• Work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines while staying organized and detail-oriented
• Take ownership of your work with a proactive, self-starting attitude
• Communicate clearly and collaborate seamlessly across teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in 3D/environmental/spatial design
• A strong design point of view and visual instincts grounded in cultural awareness
• Mastery of SketchUp and rendering plug-ins (e.g. Podium, V-Ray)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; After Effects a plus)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must be based in or near NYC
