About the role

You will develop and deliver training on industrial products (photolithography equipment). You will conduct user training on Photolithography products both in-house and at customer sites. You will provide classroom and laboratory training for internal and external customer training courses that includes but not limited to operation, preventive maintenance, application, and installation aspects of Canon photolithography equipment. You will develop new internal and external technical materials and revise existing internal and external technical materials to ensure they are current and accurate. You will verify the accuracy of technical procedures to support field service technicians and customer needs. You will provide detailed presentations on technical topics. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the training facilities and training equipment and preparing the instructional site in the San Jose facility. You will participate in discussion groups as needed to share technical information and improve technical knowledge of less experienced colleagues. You will contact customers to discuss training needs and acquire feedback from customers on current training programs and systems.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of related work experience. Semiconductor equipment, maintenance knowledge preferred, photolithography equipment knowledge helpful. Prior experience as a technical trainer preferred.

Qualifications

Full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary. Must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies. Ability to work flexible shifts. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Close visual acuity with or without corrective lenses for extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Working in office environment and also in cleanroom environment (wearing full clean room suit, facemask, gloves, safety glasses).

Skills

Technical expertise on semiconductor processes/equipment. Course development and training skills. Knowledge of photolithography equipment. Experience as a technical trainer.

Pay

$70,310- $103,770

Schedule

Full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory. Hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office three days a week and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).
