Semi-Trailer Truck Driver

CDL required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

About the role

As a Semi-Trailer Truck Driver, you will be the face of our company, providing outstanding customer service while delivering products to customers at construction and residential sites, businesses, and contractor locations using a PPCo company vehicle daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver paint and supplies to customers and job sites.
• Load and unload vehicle while matching products to customer paperwork with accuracy.
• Perform pre/post trip inspection on PPG delivery vehicle.
• Complete delivery paperwork promptly, utilize vehicle technology, and maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Ensure PPG high service standards are maintained in the store and during deliveries to resolve customer issues.
• Support store by providing customer support, tinting and mixing paint, stocking, loading and unloading trucks, and helping maintain store cleanliness.
• Complete mandatory safety training and wear protective gear for job tasks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid CDL Class B license in the state of current residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate and Driver Qualification File.
• Can operate a commercial motor vehicle with GVW over 10,000 lbs and under 26,000 lbs.
• Customer service team-oriented focus and a stable job history.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.

Pay

Starting pay: $28.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-Time Day Shift scheduled within typical store hours: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.
