About the role
J.B. Hunt's Apprenticeship Program provides on-the-job training for new CDL graduates. Drivers work with an experienced J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks before transitioning to a full-time position upon successful completion. The program includes online orientation, onsite training and management, and frequent home time.
Pay
- Average $90,000 per year
- $0.63–$0.75 per mile (cpm)
- Detention pay: $25 per hour
- Stop pay: $20–$30 per stop
- Backhaul pay: $30 per load
- Miscellaneous work pay: $20 per hour
- Weekly salary: $100 per week
- Holiday pay: $200 per day
- Safety training pay: $20 per hour
- New hire training pay: $200 per day
