Semarchy MDM Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Semarchy MDM Developer to join a growing enterprise data team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong Master Data Management (MDM) expertise to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade data solutions using the Semarchy Data Platform (SDP/xDM).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop master data models, including entities, attributes, hierarchies, and relationships using Semarchy SDP/xDM.
• Configure and maintain business rules, reference data, and master data structures.
• Develop and manage data quality rules, validation checks, profiling, and data cleansing processes.
• Implement match-and-merge strategies to create and maintain accurate golden records.
• Support enterprise data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Build and configure REST and SOAP APIs for seamless data integration.
• Design and implement data ingestion and synchronization processes from multiple source systems.
• Partner with integration teams to support end-to-end master data workflows.
• Develop workflows that enable data stewards to review, approve, enrich, and maintain master data.
• Translate business requirements into scalable MDM solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MDM processes and application performance.
• Manage deployments and model editions across Development, QA, and Production environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Semarchy SDP and xDM development.
• Proven experience delivering Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, SemQL, and AI capabilities within Semarchy SDP.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, master data governance, and data quality management.
• Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions, application deployments, and enterprise integrations.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with customer, vendor, product, loyalty, or booking master data domains.
• Knowledge of ETL and enterprise data integration tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise data architecture.
• Experience working with AI tools and AI agents such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
