About the Role

Virginia Community Healthcare Association is looking for a talented Physician to support Richmond, VA communities. You’ll serve patients of all backgrounds while working alongside a team committed to improving health outcomes across Central Virginia. This role reports to the CMO and operates primarily Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with some Monday and Tuesday hours extending to 7 PM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical care and preventive health maintenance to the entire family unit.
• Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
• Manage complex cases and coordinate care with outside specialists when needed.
• Perform surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures based on training.
• Educate and guide clinical staff, residents, and medical students.

Requirements

• Deep alignment with the mission of Community Health Centers and community-fit care.
• Exceptional communication skills to build trusted relationships with diverse patients, families, and staff.
• MD or DO degree with successful completion of a Family Practice residency.
• Active Virginia medical license, valid DEA registration, and ECFMG certificate (if applicable).

Pay

Pay range: $200,000–$280,000
