Seeking Part-Time Caregiver in Johns Island for weekday shifts

About the role

Looking for experienced caregivers to join our home care family! Specific need: Johns Island SC and surrounding areas. The Caregiver provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with basic activities of daily living, provide companionship (bedbaths, changing briefs, hygiene care, etc.)
• Assist with transfers from bed to chair using mechanical hoyer; provide standby assistance.
• Provide companionship and respite services for family; perform homemaking activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms).
• Medication assistance services under RN supervision and delegation.

Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
• 12 months plus direct experience.
• Helping disposition.
