About the Role
We are seeking a skilled First Grade Tutor to provide educational support to a young student. In this role, you will work closely with the student to reinforce their learning and help them develop essential academic skills. Your primary focus will be on providing individualized attention and guidance to ensure their success in their first-grade curriculum.
You will utilize various teaching methods, materials, and resources to engage the student in interactive learning activities. You will assist the student in strengthening their reading, writing, math, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, your role will involve assessing the student's progress and adjusting lesson plans accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized tutoring to a first-grade student
- Reinforce learning in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving
- Use varied teaching methods and resources to engage the student
- Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed
Requirements
- Solid understanding of first-grade curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability to different learning styles
- Experience as a sitter (preferred)
- Background check completed
- Verified college enrollment

$17 - $31 per hour
