If you're an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant who's ready to step away from the fast pace of hospitals and nursing facilities, Visiting Angels offers a more meaningful way to care. As an Overnight CNA, you'll provide compassionate one-on-one support to seniors in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evening routines, bedtime preparation, and personal care.
• Help clients safely transfer in and out of bed.
• Monitor clients throughout the night and respond to restroom or mobility needs.
• Provide reassurance and companionship if a client wakes during the night.
• Prepare for the morning routine, including light meal preparation when needed.
• Keep accurate notes regarding the client's condition and overnight activities.
• Communicate important updates with the Visiting Angels care team.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Previous professional caregiving, senior care, or healthcare experience
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes in the Oswego and Plainfield areas
• Caregiver must be compassionate, dependable, and patient
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while providing exceptional care

Pay

$18.00–$19.50 per hour
