Responsibilities

  • Installs, repairs, and performs maintenance on Commercial and Industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Apt and skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
  • Performs specialized electrical tasks, including wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure.
  • Wires, pulls, and installs conduit up to 100' feet per day without assistance.
  • Knowledgeable of basic voltage colors and panel numbering.
  • Efficient in Conduit Bending, able to install, bend, and run over 100' feet of conduit per day without assistance.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Utilizes analytical skills when reviewing/interpreting a drawing on a work order and mounts electrical equipment precisely to mirror drawing.
  • Identifies and resolves technical issues, communicates clearly to others on what to do and how to execute, and works methodically and meticulously to prevent error, while ensuring quality and maintaining safety.
  • Provides exceptional service to clients with a keen eye for details.
  • Lifts equipment, operates machinery, stands for extended periods of time, works in confined spaces, while indoors and/or outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Embody leadership and convey information to other electricians/contractors with clarity and transparency.
  • Provides detailed documentation and ensures safety and compliance on the jobsite.
  • Crafts a material list for work to be performed.

Requirements

  • Competitive Pay: $22-$32/hour (based on experience).

  • Practical experience or a combination of practical experience and classroom instruction.
  • Completed vocational/trade/technical school or an apprenticeship-like IEC or a similar accredited apprenticeship.
  • Electrical License Holder (Class II) is a plus, but not required.
