About the role
We are seeking a Botanist, Horticulturist, or Landscape Architect to design and select plants for our sustainable greenhouse.
Responsibilities
- Analyze plant-specific requirements and integrate them into our greenhouse design and operations.
- Ensure optimal plant health and productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Botany, Plant Science, or a related degree (or near completion).
- Access to AutoCAD and other necessary design software.
- Good mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills in a remote work setting.
- Comfortable with, or willing to learn, Google Docs and Dropbox for collaboration.
- Minimum of 10 weekly volunteer hours (work from home).
- Minimum 3-month time commitment.
Qualifications
- Desired Experience: Working with structures designed for food production.
- Desired Experience: Experience in sustainability-related design.
