SED Teacher @ South Greenville Elementary School

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for the planning and implementing of the daily program for children with special needs.
• Work well with children and staff to provide guidance fostering optimum development.
• Provide leadership in a classroom setting.
• Develop and maintain appropriately written Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students with special needs and ensure these plans are being implemented.
• Learn and use the Every Child Accountability & Tracking System (ECATS).

Qualifications

• Must hold a North Carolina teaching license.
• Have proficient knowledge in the area of child development.
• Experience with children with special needs is preferred.
