About the role

As a Security Truckyard Officer - Afternoon Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries. You will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, supporting visitor management, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter (working environments and conditions may vary by client site).
• Remain visible, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems as needed to help deter security-related incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
