About the role

US Concerts seeks a Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets. Key responsibilities include conducting patrols, responding to security and safety calls, and performing a variety of duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Respond to security and safety-related calls in a timely manner.
• Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty.
• Comply with and adhere to all departmental performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
• Perform a range of duties, often changing from one task to another.
• Adhere to legal and ethical instructions given by Security Supervisors and Managers.
• Investigate and compile accurate incident reports.
• Complete assigned tasks within guidelines and deadlines.
• Interact courteously and professionally with patrons, vendors, and employees.
• Perform security duties both indoors and outdoors, including line control, ID checks, and monitoring doors or gates.
• Work in various weather conditions year-round.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes.
• Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Ability to work in crisis situations and maintain composure.
• Ability to memorize, recall, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees.
• Ability to lift at least 45 lbs., stand, walk, reach, pull, push, grasp, and drag.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Physical stamina and strength.
