This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in access control technologies, low-voltage cabling, and security hardware who enjoys troubleshooting and delivering exceptional customer service. Primary Responsibilities Configure and program access control systemsWire and connect power supplies, controllers, card readers, and related devicesAdd and manage users, access groups, and door schedulesTroubleshoot access control hardware and software issuesInstall, pull, terminate, and test CAT6 and low-voltage cablingWork with keystone jacks, patch panels, RJ45 connectors, and punch-down blocksInstall and support card readers and access control devicesPerform service calls, maintenance, and system upgradesSupport commercial video surveillance and security system deploymentsMaintain accurate documentation and provide professional customer support Required Qualifications Experience with commercial Access Control SystemsAbility to wire and configure access control panels and devicesKnowledge of low-voltage wiring, power supplies, and basic electrical circuitsExperience pulling, terminating, and testing CAT6 network cablingFamiliarity with:Keystone jacksPatch panelsRJ45 terminationsPunch-down blocksExperience working with card readers and door access devicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProfessional communication and customer service abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with Brivo access control systemsExperience with Hanwha security or surveillance systemsCCTV installation and troubleshooting experienceExposure to alarm systemsGeneral understanding of information security principlesPrevious experience working in commercial security environments What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a motivated professional who understands access control technology and wants to be part of a company that is committed to long-term growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westfield, IN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
