Security Supervisor Shift- Omaha

Location: Omaha, NE • Department: Security • Status: Full-Time • Pay: $25.00 per hour • Shift: Swing Shift

About the Role

WarHorse Gaming Omaha is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to ensure the safety, security, and integrity of casino operations. This leadership role oversees Security Team Members during assigned shifts, protects company assets, assists with investigations, and ensures compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Security Team Members during assigned shifts.
• Enforce all applicable company policies, gaming regulations, and legal requirements.
• Assist with investigations involving guests, team members, incidents, and property-related matters.
• Identify, assess, and respond to potential safety and security risks.
• Protect company assets, guests, and team members through proactive security measures.
• Detain individuals when probable cause exists and coordinate with law enforcement and gaming officials.
• Maintain and monitor company-wide key control procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation regarding incidents and investigations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide leadership during critical situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of security‑related experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR Certification or ability to obtain certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous casino, gaming, hospitality, or resort security experience.
• Experience supervising teams in a high‑volume environment.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Frequent walking throughout the property and responding to emergencies.
• Maintain situational awareness in a dynamic casino environment.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, navigate stairs, confined spaces, and large facilities.
• Maintain focus in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exposure to secondhand smoke and moderate to high noise levels.

Schedule Requirements

The gaming and hospitality industry operates around the clock. Candidates must be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
