Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on security requirements for classified programs, facilities, and mission activities.
- Support personnel security functions, including clearance verification, access authorization, and visitor management.
- Partner with Government security offices, mission stakeholders, and contractor personnel to ensure effective security operations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining security procedures, policies, and compliance programs.
- Conduct security assessments, inspections, and reviews to identify vulnerabilities and track corrective actions.
- Support facility accreditation efforts, classified material control, and secure storage requirements.
- Prepare security briefings, status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Absorb coordination of security requirements associated with new facility stand-up efforts, including access control, accreditation, classified holdings, and physical security measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Government regulations, directives, and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Homeland Security, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting security programs within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other classified Government environments.
- Demonstrated experience administering personnel, physical, information, industrial, or program security functions.
- Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), NISPOM requirements, and Government security policies governing classified information.
- Experience supporting sensitive or compartmented programs, including SCI, SAP, or other special access environments.
- Familiarity with secure facility operations, accreditation processes, and transition planning activities.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required; Polygraph preferred.
