About the role

Securitas Security Services is hiring for full-time, part-time, and flexible positions in Sparks, NV. As a Security Specialist, you'll provide exceptional customer service and ensure the safety of clients and their guests. Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations
• Interact with clients and guests
• Identify and report safety issues and suspicious activity
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds are completed
• Carry out assigned tasks and duties

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Above-average computer and technology skills
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills
• Calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations
• Great attention to detail and vigilance
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment
• Legal right to work in NV
• Ability to speak and write English and French (in Quebec)

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED, and 1 year of security-related training or experience
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Understanding of security and safety devices and controls
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
