As a Security team member, you will maintain established security policies and procedures to protect our organization’s franchises, the ROCK Complex, its assets, employees, and guests.
Responsibilities
- Regulate and control access to restricted and secure areas (e.g., event level, receiving dock, locker rooms, executives office space, and other sensitive areas).
- Monitor, patrol, and respond to alarms/emergency situations inside/outside the ROCK complex and grounds.
- Provide quick, professional, and effective response in security and/or safety-related situations.
- Communicate with VIPs and other visitors attending events in and around the ROCK complex; serve as a resource for information and reply to inquiries from the public or SS&E employees.
- Interact professionally and notify the proper authorities or personnel as situations dictate.
- Complete effective communication, both verbally and written, where appropriate, including preparing incident/accident reports.
- Problem-solve consistently and appropriately; identify, diagnose, and resolve safety concerns; generate safety awareness and training; enforce guidelines to reduce unsafe practices.
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times; adhere to dress standards reflective of our brand.
- Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, including cameras and radio communications.
- Perform additional security duties as assigned by the Senior Security Manager or The ROCK Operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the security field.
- Basic understanding of security access control systems, protocols, CCTV, and other security-related equipment.
- Understanding of basic security protocols and safety programs.
- Ability to obtain a Level 2 Security License and Certification while in this position.
- Ability to lift and carry 25+ lbs as needed.
- Flexible availability to work long, flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (potential rotating shifts).
- Good verbal and written communication and team-building skills.
- Self-starter with initiative and exceptional, sound decision-making skills.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods in extreme conditions for the duration of assigned shift.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and proficiency in sending/checking emails through Microsoft Outlook.
- Willingness to foster career development by attending SS&E University.
