Security Specialist Full Time Graves $18-$27

Essential Duties Of The Position

• Maintains a working knowledge of Grand Casino facilities, marketing events and promotions in order to advise Guests and fellow Associates of current events.
• Provides necessary information for reports regarding security/medical related incidents involving Guests, Associates, and/or the facility.
• Ensures safe transportation of Company assets.
• Requests identification from all persons who appear under the age of 21 to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
• Attends to the medical needs of Guests and Associates.
• Safeguards proper identification of all vendors/contractors.
• Communicates with all departments in the event of an emergency or in the event that requires immediate attention.
• Maintains appropriate inventory control of such items as oxygen, wheelchairs, first aid supplies, and related office supplies, to name a few.
• Be familiar with hazardous materials used on property, and all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing the same.
• Be familiar with property fire protection system, alarm panel and response protocol.
• Be familiar with OSHA standards and conduct inspections to ensure that applicable laws, rules and regulations are adhered to in a timely matter.

Education and/or Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• EMTs or EMRs must have successfully completed a nationally recognized course.
• Successfully completed a state recognized course for Emergency Medical Technicians.
• Successfully passed a state EMT registry examination.
